Energy renovation of a single-family dwelling in La Cerdanya

In order to make the home more energy efficient, we conducted an energy study that allowed us to assess and rule out the solution we originally came up with: 20 solar panels which, aside from their physical impact and high cost, would not provide major savings, since the contract power could not be lowered in view of the number of days without sun.

Nevertheless, we found the solution: home automation control. With a quarter of the investment (expected for the panels) we achieved a saving of 25% and a substantial increase in comfort: the home is now warm upon entering, even on colder winter Fridays thanks to the remote control.
