PROJECTE AVENIR

Energy renovation of a single-family dwelling in Cerdanyola
The project began with an energy study making it possible to identify the areas where heat was being lost: the roof and the stairwell, which includes the home entrance. This meant that the intervention could be minimised and also enabled the façade to be renewed, respecting the purity of the original exposed brickwork.

Having checked the envelope and examined the various heating systems, we opted for a water-based underfloor heating connected to an aerothermal heat pump system, which provided a more than 50% reduction in consumption while assuring comfort: now there are three children in the home.

This intervention, which meant replacing the old floor tiles with parquet, involved renovating the staircase, making the heart of the home a bright, white and wooden area. The adaptation ended with a refit of the bathrooms, the old panelled doors and the marble fireplace in the middle of the dwelling.
